Our efforts for Brahma chickens focus on maintaining their traditional characteristics, including their size, feathering, and gentle temperament.  Pullets (young hens aged 3 months) are ideal for beginners as they are hardy, mostly feathered, requiring far less intensive care than baby chicks. They need a secure, dry, and ventilated coop, 2-3 square feet of space per bird, daily access to clean water, a nutritious layer ration, and consistent daily locking at dusk to prevent predator attacks.
